We always recommend handwashing and properly storing your accessories to ensure you get the best long-term value for money.
To ensure lifetime value of your accessories, please follow our care instructions:
Dog Accessories
- Soak with warm water and handwash with mild pet friendly detergent/stain remover.
- Rinse off detergent/stain remover, gently squeeze excess water from accessory and air dry by laying on flat surface or laundry line.
- For extra tough stains you may also wish to wash your accessories in the washing machine on an economy friendly 30°C wash in a wash bag or pillowcase after completing the previous steps.
- To avoid mould on soggy accessories please ensure you remove excess water by placing them in your washing machine on the spin + drain setting and wash using the appropriate steps.
Do NOT:
- Wash your accessories above 40°C as this may cause shrinkage.
- Tumble dry your accessories as this will melt the plastic features and may also cause shrinkage.
- Leave your accessories in damp or soggy conditions as this will encourage mould to grow.
- Wait more than 24hrs for mud to dry on your light coloured accessories as this may cause permanent staining.
- Leave your accessories unattended with your pet, they may think they are a great new toy or snack!
